Andrew Azathal, more commonly called Ender, cannot be summed up in one word. If you did have to choose, well, determined comes pretty close to summing him up. At 18, he is already set to take charge of his grandfather's many companies one day. Ender has always had to work extremely hard to live up to his parents standards, and even more so to please his grandfather. He is brilliant, athletic, good with people, hardworking, and kind. Ender even has a perfect memory. From phone numbers to books to movies to odd unusual facts, Ender can remember it all. Competitive in almost everything he does, Ender feels he has to be the best. In fact, Ender is the best. He is able to beat the instructors at the academy at fights of any sort. Words, magic, and physical fights all come easily to Ender. It is only natural that he is Emperor, one of the elite student council members, because Ender is a natural leader. He can get people to follow him with only a few words. Ender has a laid back personality when he's not working. He isn't exactly the type of company a person would keep if they wanted to have a laugh, but he isn't exactly aloof and he doesn't think himself better then the other students. Ender is kind to those he cares about. His family is the only group of people to truely witness Ender's goodness. Well, no, there are some other people that know of Ender's thoughtful presents, hours spent at soup kitchens, and his excellent interaction with kids. Ender would volunteer at his church's vaction bible school each summer and those little kids adored him. Caelyn would go volunteer also and that made it even better for Ender because he loves spending time with her. There are a couple of intimidating things about the emperor of the student council. First is his height. Ender stands at six feet and five inches tall. This alone means that he towers over the other people there at the academy. Ender is muscular, but not overly so. He has a head full of brown, coffee colored hair and hazel eyes that match his sister's. There is a softness in his eyes that gives more away then his facial expressions. He has sharp features and a mouth usually set in a straight line. When Ender smiles it isn't always a large smile or one that lights up his whole face. Sure he gets excited, but Ender doesn't show it very well. He maintains a cool and calm facade at all times. Well, almost all times. Caelyn is one of the few people that can actually get Ender to show emotion. Ender worries about his younger sister though he doesn't usually voice his concerns well. Overprotective of his younger twin, Ender vowes to keep the girl from any danger even though he knows she can take care of herself. Ender has a temper when pushed to extremes. When someone says something rude or negative to, or about, his family or friends, Ender has a tendancy to get angry. When Ender gets mad, well, to put it plainly, you should stay away. Ender does not back down or go easy on people. He is not someone you want as you enemy. If you didn't understand that from what I've already said, listen to this. Ender is a cross between a shifter and an elf. Getting the best of both worlds, Ender can shapeshift in practically anything and he has magic that he can control without words. Yes, Ender is that powerful. Why shouldn't he be? Sure, Ender doesn't have the best bloodline. It's not completely pure Folk blood because he does have some Humani's blood in him--going back a few generations of course--and to make everything worse, Ender's who-knows-how-many greats grandfather was marked as a betrayer to the elven race. The crime? Falling in love with a Humani girl and leaving with her. He was the first one to marry into the "lesser" race. Ender doesn't care about that. Why should he? He knows who he is and he's proud of what he has acomplished. No one knows much about that anyway and those that do know don't say anything. Ender could crush them to a pulp. He's done it before, you know; challenged some rude idiot to a competition and then made sure that person had some ugly bruises. Ender can get away from many fights without a single scratch. Ender doesn't say anything about this to rub it into peoples faces, but it is a known fact. There was one fight that Ender lost and he's never gotten over it. The other cross was years older and much more experianced. Ender didn't really stand much of a chance. He was only 12 at the time. Ender was at home, along with his two sisters. You heard me right. Two sisters. Caelyn, his twin, and Lineve, his little seven year old sister. The man broke in; he had sensed the magic coming from the home. He and Ender fought until Ender was exausted. Then the man did what Ender would never have expected. He took Lineve and Caelyn and ran. Ender tracked him and found where the man had hidden. Ender saw his sisters being hit and kicked and Ender returned later with backup to save his sisters. A full fight broke out; it turned out that the kidnapper wasn't alone. Ender was able to corner the kidnapper and he destroyed the man. There was nothing but dust left. The man's last words were "I have won anyway. She is dead." Ender found Caelyn crying over Lineve's body. That was the first and last time Ender would cry. He swore it to himself. Ender vowed to never lose a fight again. He would not lose under any circumstance. Sometimes you have to commit to a fight even when you're weak. Ender's motto is "You don't wait till you know you're tougher. You make yourself tougher by whatever means you can, and then you strike by surprise, you sneak up, you backstab, you blindeside, you cheat, you lie, you do whatever it takes to come out on top." That's Ender in a nutshell. There is more I could write, but for right now I will leave it at that. You will have to find out the rest for yourself.

Caelyn Azathal. What's there to say about her? Not a lot say most strangers. They'll tell you the basics... Caelyn comes from a rich and well known family, both in the Folk world and the Humani one, and she's nothing special. Friends, on the other hand, can say a lot about Caelyn. Caelyn's not extremely pretty (but she is pretty), she's not the most outgoing, and she's not the greatest at sports. What can be said is that she has really long brown hair. It's to her waist. She has hazel eyes; brown with blue, gold, and green specks. She is smaller then Ender, her twin, by an entire foot. Caelyn's five foot five and yeah, that's about average, but Caelyn feels short due to the height of people in her family. She's the shortest. Caelyn's got a slim build, not skinny and not fat, and she's a healthy weight for her size now. Now, you may be asking? Well, Caelyn used to have a weight problem. After she was kidnapped with her little sister, Caelyn couldn't eat. She had gone through so much pain being abused and watching her sister be killed right in front of her that Caelyn really had trouble eating. It was the guilt of not being able to help Lineve as she died and it was the guilt that she wasn't good enough at magic to protect the younger girl from the evil man in the first place. Lineve was only seven and Caelyn blamed herself for Lineve's murder. There was no therapist for Caelyn to go to. Her mother and father didn't understand - no, that's not right - they couldn't understand as they went through their own mourning. Ender was there but he was dealing with his own guilt at the time for not protecting both girls. Caelyn felt alone. She couldn't confide in any of her human friends because of the magic that had been involved. Caelyn was wasting away in front of everyone. She was practically starving herself. Then along came a woman named Leanna. Leanna was a Folk healer and she taught Caelyn how to heal. Up until this point Caelyn had been mediocore at everything she did. Now she excelled. Caelyn was better then Ender at something at last. Maybe it sounds kind of messed up, but Caelyn had always been second best at everything and now that she was good at something she was proud of herself. It was always "Ender did this" or "Ender did that". Now Caelyn got some recognition in the family. She had never blamed Ender for his greatness, although she was jealous at times, but it had been her parents and grandfather that had earned Caelyn's bitterness. Caelyn gained back the lost weight and she was happy. She had Leanna as a mentor and she had Ender who had recovered as much as possible from Lineve's death by that time. Caelyn learned about herself in that time. She learned that she didn't need her parents' or grandfather's approval to live life to the fullest. Caelyn had been limited by them, but she wasn't anymore. She grew and flourished. When Leanna left to travel the world to help more people Caelyn was heartbroken but understood. She too had the urge to travel and Caelyn promised herself that she would one day. She would travel like Leanna had and she would make the woman who had been like a true mother to her proud. Caelyn occupied her time with helping people. She would accompany Ender and her grandfather on their business trips but instead of staying at their meetings (not that she was welcome to) Caelyn visited hospitals where she would preform miracles with her magic. Children with cancer were cured. A woman who had to chose if her baby lived instead of her got to keep her life and her child's. Caelyn healed without anyone knowing, well, except for Ender. Ender knew of everything Caelyn did. He was protective of her and it would have annoyed most everyone else, but Caelyn appreciated it and accepted it. He accompanied her on some of her trips to hospitals or soup kitchens. Caelyn liked Ender being there because it made her feel safe. Caelyn always enjoyed going to the beach because she liked water sports. Boating, jet skiing, surfing, and the like were hobbies of Caelyn. She's also an artist, working mostly with pencils and pastels. Caelyn can paint and use charcoal and other stuff to make art but pencils are by far her favorite. Caelyn has been at the academy for six months now with Ender, who is Emperor of the Student Council, and she isn't the biggest fan. She misses her home and her friends. Yeah, she has some friends at the academy, but its still not the same. Ender is the only reason Caelyn is staying at the academy. For now I'll leave it at that. I'm a busy person and there's more people who I have to describe. Bye for now!

I am Torina Sehwyn. This is really stupid, but I was bribed into telling you about me. Why would you want to know about me? Geez, I have no clue where to start. Oh, the bribe? You want to know about that? It was chocolate of course. My one not-so-secret weakness. White chocolate, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, sweet dark chocolate, semisweet chocolate, bittersweet chocolate, unsweetened chocolate for baking, and basically any other chocolate you can think of. Chocolate cake and chocolate frosting equals my ideal dessert. Yeah... I also love hazelnuts. Some people swear that my second addiction is Nutella. That is so not true. Well, maybe it's a little bit true. What can I say? It's yummy. So are Ferrero Rocher hazelnut chocolates. Two of my favorite things mixed together! I should shut up about desserts and candy now, shouldn't I? I think I'm disturbing you with my raving about chocolate and hazelnuts. Ok... what should I talk about now? Ummm, my favorite color is azure. Ok, ok. I know azure is a shade of blue and I could just say blue and get onto the next topic, but azure sounds so much cooler. I mean, blue's alright, a bit overused by idiots who have no creativity and are blind as bats, but azure is more specific and I guess it helps you get a better understanding of me. I hate, no hate's a really strong word... greatly dislike is a better way of saying it. I greatly dislike people who are unoriginal. I mean, being original is fun and it makes you look smarticles. Smarticles? Oh, that's a word that I made up. It basically means smart. There's also happer, which means that a person is happy and hyper, and confuzzled which means that you're confused and you're brain isn't working right. Like your brain is hazy or fuzzy, which is where I get the 'fuzzled' from. I know I'm weird, but I'm proud of it. As I said before, unique is good. Actually I said original is good, but unique is practically the same thing. Am I coming across as a delusional crazy person? From the look on your face, I apparently am. I'm also betting that you think I'm really girly also because I talk about chocolate and I make up words that just sound like something a stupid girl would say. Well I'm not stupid or girly. I like running races, wrestling, jumping off cliffs, and mud. I may not be the fastest person ever, but I have good stamina. I can run for a long time. Wrestling is fun even though I lose half the time. Getting people in headlocks is especially fun. Cliff diving is just plain ah mazing. Did you know that I also fly planes? No? Well you do now. I'm pretty darn good at it. The thrill that gets the adrenaline moving and your heart beating fast is what I live for. Well, no, I live for many other reasons, but you get my drift. There's an excellent cliff right near the lake for jumping in and going splash. The water's deep enough for no one to get seriously hurt, so don't worry about that. You're  staring. Mud, you say? I guess I haven't quite gotten there yet... Well why should I not like mud? Because it's 'not ladylike'? Puh lease. Getting muddy is what makes a rainy day great. You're looking at me funny. I would stop right now, but that idiot behind you, the one who bribed me, is threatening to murder me if I don't continue. Yeah, Briar's making 'threatening' gestures. As if he could take me on. Well, he could but that's not the point. Point is that I have to continue in order to get my chocolate. Ugh. What should I ramble on about next? I like cats over dogs. Dogs just annoy me. They bark and whine and insist on playing fetch. They also jump up onto you and try to lick your face! Ew! That's one of the few things I can't stand. Dogs licking my face. Cats are much calmer and they can take care of themselves. There is no need to walk them. They don't try to destroy your face with their tongues. Much better animals, cats are. Wanna know what the best animal is? A horse! Horseback riding is awesome. Yeah, it hurts your butt when you first start out... but after you've been riding every day for a few days, there is no more ache. Hehe, I love horses. They are magificent creatures, but I don't own one because they are so expensive. Ahh well, not much I can do about that. So, onto the next topic, I love books... well, some books. Fantasy or Science Fiction are the only books I really read. One of my favorite authors is Shannon Hale. I like to write, but I don't have the patience to sit down and write for more then 20 minutes. Stupid, I know... I should work on being patient and all, but it's really not my thing. If I had to list five adjectives to describe myself I would say happy, carefree, feisty, smart, and positive. I try not to be a downer and I'm usually the type of person who says 'if you get lemons, you should make lemonade'. I completely agree with that saying! Lemonade is good! I do have a small temper, usually when a person insults someone I'm close to. Someone, and that person shall remain unnamed, once said I was like "a kitten trying to be a tiger". Hmph! Now that's just rude. I am more of a tiger then a kitten. People should be more considerate of other people's feelings. I guess the impression you've gotten of me is pure awesome roadrunner on crack right? Well, I'm not always like that. I used to be a babysitter when I was with the Humans. Little kids love me. Does that sound vain? Well, no matter, it's true. People have told me that I can be very motherly when I want to be. Keys words--When I want to be. I don't always feel like being nice. Oh yeah, I forgot to talk about magic. I'm part elf and part elemental. I'm the only known one besides Briar. My element is water and I really like to manipulate it. It's more then 'kinda' fun. I can make a wave pool in the lake and I can call the rain down if I want to. The elf in me isn't quite as strong. I can tell when magic is being used and where it's being used which is one of my special talents. Not everyone can do that. I'm pretty good at mind magic (manipulating memories, placing thoughts in people's heads, reading minds, etc;) but I have to be touching the person to do that. I like to move things and people so I find teleporting to be fun. Again, it's back to the rush I feel. It's the adrenaline rush that I get from moving through space that I adore. My history? You want to know about my history? That's more then a bit personal. I'll tell you the basics but no more I don't know you well enough to fully trust you. I never knew my parents. I lived with a woman named Evia and a man named Larr and they were kind people but it was no secret that I wasn't their blood. I was adopted and it was so absolutely painfully clear to the world. It was difficult to be so different. I had flaming hair while both of them had dark hair. I had light eyes and they had dark eyes. They were elf/shifter crosses and I wasn't. I was treated different from their two children as well. They were favored and it hurt. I always felt alone but I covered it up with laughter and jokes and sugar was my escape of reality. Sugar kept me high on life so I didn't feel as bad about myself or anything. You know, I was a good child over all. I got good grades in school, I didn't vandalize, steal, or cheat, and I was polite most of the time. I don't know how Evia and Larr died and I don't think I want to know. The Humani said it was a car accident. I never believed that story. Sarri and Antony blamed me for it because I was different and they needed to blame someone so I was an easy target. I arrived at New Secrete Academy when I was nine years old. I met Briar on my second day and he seemed to hate me. Briar constantly glared at me cause I'm sure he thought I was a complete weakling and I physically was at that time. Anyway, he seemed to be mad at the world and I snapped at him and told him to take a picture because it would last longer. He was surprised and we became friends and later like siblings. He's the older brother I always wanted. He's more of a brother then Antony was. The academy is my true home and I think it always will be. You know of the AE incident I'm sure. If you don't then you've lived under a rock. I was taken and so were a bunch of other students. The AE abused us, me especially because I talked back, and they were ready to kill us when the rescue party arrived. We survived obviously and I was somewhat tramatized for a while. I still have nightmares sometimes. Things are getting better now, slowly but surely, and I'm in a better mental state now. It's because of Briar's support that I've recovered so fast. Yes, yes, yes Briar! I know, I know... You did what had to be done. No matter, I'm still grateful I have you as 'family'. Look at the time! Well, I have to go now. It's late and I'm tired. Maybe I'll tell you more tomorrow. Maybe not. Frankly I don't care about you but whatever. Briar's fine with what I've written here (This took me a week to write) so I'm probably done for good. Buh bye people!

Geric Sheridan . Prankster. Joker. Clown. These are words that others have used to describe Geric. Flirt.  Trickster. Heartbreaker. These are also words that some have called Geric. He's the real-life Peter Pan. Laughing, smiling, and mischief-making is what makes Geric himself.

Hullo! I'm Landon Evari. Elf and Shifter cross extraordinaire at your service!

Zane Caldera. He’s about six feet tall. He has slim fingers and almost delicate hands, perfect for playing the piano. He's good with music, not great, but it is enjoyable and relaxing. He’s got glasses, rectangular frames, to perfect his eyesight. That’s something about Zane you should note. He’s not an elf with perfect senses or a shifter that can make their eyes clearer. He has longer hair, a pretty brown color with red highlights. His eyes are blue, a startling blue like the blue of a clean river where you could see through to the rocks below., or like the sky on a clear day. No clouds. Nothing fake, nothing that isn't real. He's not obsessed with that, the real versus not real, but he's always been sensitive about the acts people put on. When Zane was twelve years old he started having night terrors. One of those, possibly the worst one, was him surrounded in a room by porcelain dolls. Each doll had the face of a friend or family member. He, in the dream, kept chanting 'This isn't real, this isn't real, I'm dreaming, this isn't true' and the dolls responded with mocking voice, 'You're not real? You don't know real. I'm real, we're real, you are the fake one! You're not real and you'll never be'. It was that dream that made Zane more particular about who he was around. He trusted very few and only believed in what he could understand with at least one of his senses. He was a very closed off person. His parents sent him away at 15 in hopes of furthuring his training and getting him to open up. Zane  is a fire elemental. His body is fit from the aggressive attitude that fire requires all the stances, forms, and abrupt and forward movements. Fire is offensive. Fire is attacking. Fire is anger and frustration. Fire is also light and warmth and defense when used properly. Zane has been trained in this for years. He knows all that fire is and isn't and what to do with it and what to avoid. He's smart bookwise and he's well read. He loves the classics. Sherlock Holmes,.

Jasmyne Ottoe is slightly smaller then average height and she has seen just over 16 years. She has black hair, blacker then midnight, and she is considered pretty, if not beautiful, but she has trouble seeing herself that way. Jasmyne's eyes are a gray that resembles stormy skies. She has the slight build of a dancer and a cat-like grace to go with it. Jasmyne has pretty features—from her eyes that are beautifully shaped to her full pink lips. Her long eyelashes add to her picture of innocence; the look she puts on when she wants her way. Her hair is long, and if let down and straightened, it reaches the small of her back. Soft like silk, Jasmyne's hair is often said to be one of her best features. Jasmyne's ears are pierced and she thinks of earrings as a hassle but she still wears them. Her mother expected it of her. Jasmyne rarely uses makeup and, if she does, it’s a light layer. She seems to almost glow when she’s happy, and Jasmyne smiles enough that she gives off the vibe that nothing is really wrong. Even if she’s unhappy or disappointed, she puts on her façade—a bright smile with fake laughs. She is a good deceiver, and can hide what she’s feeling easily. Jasmyne isn’t always sweet and cute and lovely. She does have a temper when she’s angry and her words aren’t always all that nice. If you know Jasmyne well, you’ll be able to tell what’s going on with her. Not knowing the solution to a problem or being unsure of something causes Jasmyne to fidget. Biting her lip and playing with a necklace that she always wears are two things that happen when Jasmyne gets flustered or embarrassed. When Jasmyne is disappointed with something, her face falls for a few seconds, and then she acts like nothing at all is wrong. She’s extremely loyal to her family and some of her closer friends, to the point of death. It sounds strange and cliché, but it’s 100% true. Jasmyne is trustworthy and will never utter a secret if she’s been sworn to secrecy. With that being said, she is also dependable, determined, and independent. When she says she’ll do something, it gets done. When something is hard and frustrating, Jasmyne will try her best to finish it, because that’s just the way she is. Jasmyne isn’t a natural leader, but she doesn’t follow the crowd. She is her own person and acts like such. A creative person all the way through, Jasmyne's type of art is dance. She walks like a dancer because she has been taking dance lessons since before she could walk. Now that Jasmyne lives at New Secrete Academy she doesn't have a real dance studio; a major disappointment for for the teenager. Another hobby of Jasmyne's is gymnastics. She is very flexible and since she's on the smaller side she does well in her gymnastics classes. Well, when she had gymnastics classes she did well. The uneven bars are her favorite. The academy doesn't have any uneven bars for her to use which is another disappointment. Jasmyne's family is made up of her, her father, her mother, and her little brother Leo. Never seeing eye-to-eye with her mother, Jasmyne has always been a “Daddy’s Little Girl” and everyone knows it. Jasmyne's father was the one who she would go to at night when she had nightmares, when she had scraped her knee, or ended up accidentally influencing people to do what she wanted and then the guilt overwhelmed her. How did she end up influencing people? Well Jasmyne is an elf. Jasmyne can influence emotions very easily and with a touch (skin to skin contact) she can make a person want to do whatever makes her happy. Jasmyne did it without noticing when she was little and as she got older she started to realize what was going on. She couldn't control that power or any of the other signs that pointed to her being an elf. Jasmyne's father taught her and guided her and loved her unconditionally, unlike Jasmyne's mother. Her mother was colder, more demanding, and downright mean at times, at least to Jasmyne. Jasmyne always figured that her mother's anger was based in jealousy centered around how close Jasmyne was to her father. Leo was more of a "Mommy's Boy", but he was also pretty close to their father. Things changed the day after Jasmyne's sixteenth birthday. She had gone out with friends to the mall. There had been lots of laughter and fun and Jasmyne put off returning home. Maybe if she had returned instead of going for ice cream things would have been different. Maybe she could have stopped them from disappearing. Jasmyne returned home that day to see Leo sitting on the steps. The front door was locked. Upon entering the house all Jasmyne and Leo found was a note from their parents telling them to go to New Secrete Academy and quickly. Pack light, the letter said. There were plane tickets in the envelope and a series of checks that could be cashed. There was enough money to live easily for a year. Jasmyne took Leo and they left immediately, Jasyme focused on teleporting both herself and her brother to the airport where they checked in and headed off to the closest airport to the academy. From there they headed up the mountains, staying as warm as they could by the fire and layering the sets of clothes they did bring. Leo stopped talking and it devestated Jasmyne who felt like she had lost her parents and her brother. Leo was able to mindspeak and Jasmyne clung to that as a source of hope. Maybe they would be alright. Maybe their parents were alright and were just in hiding. Maybe, maybe, maybe. Jasmyne looks out for her brother like the protective older sister she is. Leo is her life now.
